FAQ
Frequently asked questions

What kind of game is bcc?
A narrative mystery set in the year 2000. You dig through a Hollywood talent agency's private emails, files, and computer network to piece together what really happened. No technical knowledge needed — if you can read closely, you can play.
What do I need to play?
A computer with a web browser. bcc runs right in the browser, so there's nothing to download. It needs a desktop or laptop-sized screen and a physical keyboard, so it isn't playable on phones. On your phone you can still buy Season 1 and send yourself the link for later.
What's free, and what does $5 unlock?
Episode 1 is free and doesn't need an account. A one-time $5 purchase unlocks all five episodes of Season 1, about 1–3 hours in total, and your progress from Episode 1 carries over.
Why do I need to enter my email to buy?
Your purchase is tied to your email address, so you can play on any computer and never pay twice. We email you a sign-in link — no password — and then send you to secure Stripe checkout.
Will my progress be saved?
Yes. When you're signed out, progress saves in your browser. When you're signed in, it syncs to your account so you can pick up on any computer, and anything you played while signed out is merged in.
